It is very sad.
The truth is that this girl was shot inside a school, that had armed guards and guns inside the school to prevent this from happening. So, now that this chapter is over, let's move on to the next shooting, and say the same shit about that one.

A tragedy but that armed guard prevented that kid from killing more.
The sicko heard him coming and shot himself in the head. This according to CNN and other outlets.
losing one child is sickening but, apparently, it could have been much worse. He was targeting the debate club members, according to reports.

This is sad that the young lady died. What could have been an inferno with trapped students in a burning building was cut short by the shooters suicide when the officers were approaching. Must have been a very large school for the whole thing to have lasted over a minute before the shooters suicide. Everything I know about this I saw on tv and also read accounts online never saw any article that left out the officers approaching. What did you read ctreay or see that left out some of the story? You want the shootings to stop? Its simple. The media needs to SHU THE HELL UP. They harp on the school shooting for YEARS. They give the sicko's the idea on how to go out. The keep planting the shooting seed in the sicko's heads for years so theres one per year as they get older.
If they would just shut up they wouldn't get the idea to go shoot up a school or a mall. The media needs to be cut off at the knee's and told to be resonsible for what they do and report the news correctly.

I agree, the media is a huge problem in society,, Just like when there has been a crime and the police are looking for the Dirt bag,, First thing the media does is plaster the picture all over the TV,, Well I am thinking they know there figured out, So now they hide deeper and change the looks,,
And don't get me started on these stupid video games parents buy these kids..

The media WANTS innocent people to die. It sells their product, and more importantly to them, it helps convince the foolish sheep to vote socialist masters over the rest of the citizens. They think that will make a better world.

When we all were kids we used sticks or our fingers to shoot each other. Well we didn't go out and shoot people. I have to agree with the fact that video games and lack of proper parents has alot to do with things.

The truth is the death toll is almost certain to have been higher if it were not for the armed guard or guards or reacted and panicked the shooter into committing suicide.
Another inconvenient truth is the case of the shooter at Clackamas Town Center whose gun jammed, then panicked and fled when he saw a citizen trying to draw a bead on him with a legally carried handgun. The shooter mouse trapped himself and committed suicide.

That may be good enough for you, but I bet her parents would disagree that it was.
Like I said, if we can keep it down to just a few kids being killed, by having guns in the schools, to stop the mass killing, that is good enough. Unless, it is your kid that is killed of course. Let's see what the next one brings. Maybe every teacher will have a gun in the next school shooting. Problem is if the first shot is not at a teacher, or there is not one in the hall waiting for the deranged kid to enter, and start shooting, there still is going to be kids shot, and possibly killed.
What happens if the deranged kid walks up to the teacher hiding the gun, pulls it from his pocket and shoots the teacher before they can pull their gun. Then the kid just turns and starts firing into the classroom, because he knows there are kids there that he has had problems with. By the time another highly, tactically trained teacher responds, it will turn into a mass shooting, before he even decides he is out-gunned, and commits suicide. He may even like the challenge, like it is a video game, and actually want the extra competition to see if he can, "WIN". What happens if the guard, or the teacher that is responding, is also shot and killed by the deranged kid? What if he decides that suicide is not an option? In the meantime the bullets just keep flying around the school in an all out shoot-out. Who is "Winning"?
