My gun shoots Remington STS #8's better than any other shell. I have looked in 2 states and can not find them, Is Remington not producing as many as the other shells like gun clubs?

Because they are all in my garage....Mmmwahhhaaaa!!! j/k :)

I did buy a crapload of STS and Nitro's back in 2006 and felt like the king for a long time:) But not anymore. I can vividly remember that I paid $2700 for 47 flats of shells. That was $57.45 per flat, and the price had just gone up. 25 flats a couple months later and I have been in STS hulls ever since. Good times..

The picture posted of two skids @ $74.00 per "flat" does not represent "good info" The code # on these Winchester flats is AAL127 which is Xtra low recoil, 1 oz. 7 1/2's, Could not get a code off the Remington flats....X-Jet Boat Bill

The picture Grntitan has with the shells is correct on price as I was at Sparta's Walmart last saturday but alot of the shells are as you say 1oz or Sporting Clays. They did say they had a order coming in but who knows when. They did have Remington 1-1/8 oz light target loads but I was shopping for rebate shells. No Super Hdcp. last week in either brand.

If you say so X- Jet Boat Bill. The picture I posted was taken recently. There are other shells in the store on the main shell shelves. The Sporting Goods Manager(Gary) is very good about buying what the shooters want and getting them in stock. We have had shells all through this mess. I Just snapped a quick pic of that pallet for a friend looking to get his Winchester AA's for the rebate. Also the shells on that pallet are mixed. There is everything from Handicap loads, Low Recoil to Sporting Clays loads. If they are not on that pallet they are probably elsewhere in the store. I have had numerous shooters from this forum PM me with a thanks as they drove to Sparta and got shells.

Sorry you were not satisfied with the info I provided. I'll try to do better in the future.

I was at the NRA Convention in Houston over the weekend(Friday and Sat.) and talked to the Federal, Wnchester, and Remington Reps. They all assured me me that there is no shortage of shotgun ammo, nor will there be. On the the other hand, 9MM,.45ACP, .223, and so forth is a different story. They are still manufacturing at the same levels as pre-election, but people are hoarding it. They are all at capacity levels now. Hope that helps. Charlie
