"... too many feeding issues on the second shot..."

There are two kinds of shooters using semi-autos for doubles, those having reliability issues and those who are about to.

I have a first generation Butler XX12 that I seem to shoot well at doubles, singles, and handicap; At least as well as my Perazzi, if not better, which is hard for me to deal with mentally. It was to be a backup, but now I am not so sure.
The new shell catcher does a great job as well.
Dave, just give in and go to the Butler full time. Ha Ha.....Larry Butler

You are ruining things for those of us that want to keep spending money looking for the Holy Grail!
I just might have to get a second Butler for a backup to the first, though it would be a safe queen.
Soft shooting, points and moves well, and the long choke tubes crush the birds. Now that you have a shell
catcher, there seems to be no downside.

1100 Competition - Mod for doubles...
Release trigger.

If I had to shoot a P or K gun I'd quit !
Those guns are junk !!!!

Just kidding, but I wouldn't trade my 1100 for one and that's a fact.
