I'm thinking about reversing my decision to no longer not be an NRA member.

Savvy?

I would rejoin if I was sure that my contribution wasn't going to wasted on mailing me stuff every week, and calling me twice a week.

From what I could tell my contribution was only used to mail me and call me in an attempt to get more cash out of me--which I did not have to give.

Instead I used the cash to join the RNC.

the phone calls got to be a real nusisance. I believe in the NRA, but thought my cash was better used by the RNC. The RNC did follow up with more mail, but not nearly to the degree the NRA did.

One time I was at Wal-Mart and I found a nickel on the floor.

Mollyone, hey... that's not very nice. I'm dealing with a serious dilemma here and it warrants thoughtful dialogue.

Too many annoying calls from RNC. Will not donate until they support the FairTax. I'll donate to candidates directly.

Didn't renew my NRA membership because of their support for Democrat Gov. Strickland in Ohio, and Harry Reid (D). I support other Second Amendment organizations.

Just have to call the NRA membership section and tell them you want to be on the "reduced mailing list."

Annual member from '62 to '78, Life in '78, Endowment, Patron, and Benefactor followed. Never regretted it. Get more from NRA in terms of results than from the RNC and the Ill Rep. party affiliations. I know there's waste, I get tired of the calls, but I hope my money is being used to protect our rights..never thought that the RNC was doing anything but just trying to help self-serving politicians get reelected.

I rejoined last week. I sent an e-mail note along with my 5 year paymnent stating that I did not to be bothered with emails phone calls or any other form of pleas for more money. I don't think it is working they emailed me the same day. To tell me I had been put on the no contact list.
