Just curious. Who is going to the Empire Grand in Cicero next week.

I'll be there Friday thru Sunday.

I might even bring a little goose jerky with me.

WOW,

I guess I didn't need to pre-squad if nobody is going.

I'll probably just bring one small bag of goose jerky then.

Oleolliedawg - It's not going to rain. Really,,,,,, it's not going to rain. (I'll throw the chest high in the Jeep just in case).

badkarma

We'll be in the 5th wheel behind the #1 trap field.

Stop by for a sample of jerky and some good fellowship.

I stopped by the Home grounds this morning and it looked a little damp. They were putting rubble on the roads and getting it ready for next week.

Bob Finger is correct. Among other things, any semi-auto shotgun with a "pistol grip" is defined as an AW. And I only looked quickly, but I did not see a definition of that term. Without a definition describing something else, as far as common usuage of the term in relation to long-guns goes, just about every sporting semi-auto ever made could be be an AW.

Pump action rifles also are included if they have detachable magazines. Not sure how many of those there are. The existing law has exceptions for shotguns holding not more than 5 in the mag, but this one does not. Instead of being an exception, the more than 5 shells language is included in the definition of AW section, and this is bad.

Dust4fun,

YOU are the only idiot here. When you pull your head out of your butt cheeks you may learn something.

There is no such thing as a "military assault semi-auto". The only true "assault rifles" are the STG44 and Russian AK pattern rifles, capable of full auto or burst fire. Those, and any other full auto or burst capable firearms require a BATF permit.

There is no such thing as a semi-auto "assault" anything.

That is unless you are an uneducated liberal anti-gun puke, in which case every gun is an assault or mass murder something, and a steak knife is an assault bayonet.

how will this shoot compare to in size to the NY State shoot? I might take a drive out next weekend to kill some time,,,and maybe have some new earplugs made if anyone is going to be there. I want to check out a club thats nearby that i'm going to be shooting @ in june or july anyways, so i can kill 2 birds w/ one stone.

The reason you don't get jerky is because you don't stay in New York long enough.
I'll tell the Foxes you said hello.

You guys that are bitching about NY politics, get off my thread. This is a political free zone.

Canadians are always welcome. Just keep raising those Canada geese and send them our way.

See you all in the swamp next week. Bring your boots.

skeet_man, what local club will you be shooting at? I am from the area and belong to a few of the local clubs and shoot them frequently. Yes, I will also be shooting the Empire, Thursday through Sunday. There should be a vendor or two aorund on the weekend who could do your earplugs.--Dan--

Dan- Dewitt will be the club i'll be going to for their resurrected Silver Dollar skeet shoot this summer. They've held some pretty nice skeet shoots in the past from what i've heard, so it should be a good shoot
