Been shooting a couple times a week with my son and going though about two cases a week for the last 6 months. Been ordering though Cabela's when they had a sale or have been using gift cards bought at a discount but they don't seem to do well with larger orders. When I order 10 or more cases they break up the cases putting a bunch of individual boxes of shells into a larger box (think 28 boxes of shells tossed into a large box and shipped.. yes its a mess with shells everywhere and has happened multiple times) or they simply cancel all or part of the order. Getting two cases at a time seems to work ok but would rather not be putting weekly orders in.

Bottom line I want to order larger amounts but don't want to order by the pallet.. How is everyone else dealing with this?

Walmart is about as cheap as anyone and that’s not saying much.
My local store has had a good supply with no limit.
I’m only talking a flat or 2 at a time.

I ordered 16 cases from Target Sport USA a couple months ago. With the prime membership it was $84 a case for Federal Top Guns. They shipped two Flats in a larger box packed with some paper as cushion. Out of the sixteen none of them were damaged. Highly recommend them.

I'm fortunate to have a dealer nearby that always let's me know when his supplier is running sales and I'm able to get them for about 3 percent over his cost. I mostly just reload my own though.

Where do you live? I am in SE MI and we have two dealers in Ohio. AJ's Supplies and Dawson's Enterprise's. Both will sell you large quantities. Also venders are usually at the larger ATA shoots and they seem to have a good supply of shells.

Like Michigan Duane above, I buy from AJs Supplies in Wauseon Ohio. They are big supporters of trapshooting and sell shells and components at the Cardinal Center in Ohio and the Michigan Trapshooting Association home grounds.

Pallets vary in the amount of flats. Some may have 130 or so, while others have 90. It depends on how many you order.

Just call your closest distributor..... .Oh, forgot about how the greedy manufacturers eliminated distributors and now sell to "select retailer's" such as Walmart and Scheels. How's that been working for you to find ammo and components at these retailers who can't deliver the product even at prices that are extreme? Thanks to the bastards at Vista in leading this new business model.
