Monarto club yesterday (holiday in my state). 50 double barrel in heavy cloud and cold strong wind. Managed the 50 and won the shoot-off.

Then 50 point score in ridiculous wind. 5 second barrels for a 145/150, good enough on the day.

7 squads and several friendly dogs. I love dogs but can't have on in my apartment so a pooch is always welcome.

I shot 5 stand at the Hillsdale College shooting center in Michigan yesterday. Sporting clays on tap for today and then bunker trap tomorrow. I drive out from central PA a few times a year to shoot here. Awesome place to shoot and great people on staff here.

They have a 24 station sporting course, American trap and skeet, International trap and skeet, and Action pistol available. Been hooked up with USA shooting for about 5 years now and have those competitions and clinics here also. An Olympic facility is now being completed for rifle and pistol also. Wish I lived closer because I always have a great time here.

I got my teeth pulled so I was sitting on the couch doped up on Vicodin with drool running down my chin. I think I may have watched some television but I don’t really remember :(

Curious to see what everyone's weekend looked like..

Saturday,I went with a buddy to a shooting preserve. We worked our dogs with pheasants and chukar.

Sunday, registered shoot at Ruffsdale gun club.
Shot singles and Caps.

Weather in Southwestern PA was very nice for October. Cool morning to 80 degrees in afternoon.
I was there (Ruffsdale) as well. I also shot on Saturday in the Doubles marathon (only 200, not all 500).

I ran out of gas on Sunday. My 4th round was the worst in both singles and caps.

I was bow deer hunting in Hudson Michigan with my son in law and grand son and his girl friend.

Ruffsdale Gun CLub. They had their fall doubles marathon. 500 targets in about 4 hours.
Nice club, good targets. Had a good time with some shooting buddies.

LA Clays on Tuesday, 2 hours on the sporting clays range 125 targets. Nice weather, not crowded, shooting with friend. Great time!

Montpelier Gun Club.
Fun shoot on Saturday including “country doubles”. A few shooting games after the event. The club put out an amazing BBQ dinner and then a registered ATA shoot on Sunday.
A great time. Wonderful folks and outstanding New England weather.

Actually, I haven’t fired a shot this year. I left the farm in 1981 and haven’t had a job since that kept me home. So, I retired in May, and have’t done anything this year except enjoy my wonderful wife’s company. I’ll try to shake the cobwebs out after deer season.

Saturday the 2 grandsons ages 9 & 12 shot fun shoot. Annie Oakley, wolf chase or whatever it is called in your neck of the woods. Had a wonderful fun time and they shot well against all adults. Today was 4-H practice. I had 11 kids shooting today at our one trap. Got to love them smiles when they break their personal best scores!!
What is wolf chase

I have shot there a several times in the last month. Not a member but would like to be! Shot trap, skeet and 5 stand there.
I’m not a member there either. They’re in the league as one of the rotating clubs we shoot at.
It’s a nice place to shoot, You should inquire about membership, although I don’t know what it takes to join.
