When I used to hunt. My Win 101 20 ga with choke tubes. Later a cheaper O/U. Reserved the 101 for local Skeet tournaments. I found I liked the shooting part more that the hunting part, so no longer hunt.

Worked down from the random 12 gauge - through a couple of Parker 20 gauges. Current and favorite is a 28 gauge Ruger Red Label with an English stock.

After a long day in the field I've been offered Krieghoffs, Berettas, etc. as even trades - based solely on weight.

For waterfowl it would be my 12 gauge Browning Gold Hunter 3 1/2".

For everything else it would probably be one of my Browning Gold Fusions. It would be a coin flip on whether it would be the 12 gauge or the 20 gauge.
