There were a couple of companies that made a recoil system that were attached to the adj. comb. The comb is also attached to the butt plate. This way the adj. comb did not slide on the shooters face for each shot. I think Clyde Slide was another company that made one similar to this. The only problem was the shooter still could get his skin pinched between the stock and the adj. comb while it was sliding back and forth. It was not a big problem though. I do not know the exact type you have though, Sorry. break em all Jeff

I think Jeff is correct. One of our members just got a new Slick Slide on his browning XT and it looks identical to that.

Looks like a Scott Hyde HPI recoil system.
