What model BT-99 is this. Leo

Still on my hunt for a trap gun and stumbled across this beautiful BT-99 on an old auction. They're advertising it as a pigeon grade which I could believe but say it says "104" above the lever, does this make it a Leo's special? I've never seen a pigeon grade with a black/blue receiver. I wish they listed what it went for. Think I could find one in good shape for $2000?

Now that you mention it I had the $3400 Leo's Special saved in my watched list on Gunbroker http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=379584349 The engraving looks just like it. I called Browning too and they said it was from 1988 since it had PP in the serial but couldn't give me specifics since of the age. Guess I won't be getting one because I can't swing $3000 for one.

Yeah it was advertised as like new in box. So I'm sure a used one would go for much less but you don't see them a lot.

The Leo Special is built off the Grade 2 Pigeon. I own a 1979 gun with similar engraving but no gold. The deep relief engraving BT is one of prettiest guns Browning every offered... IMO

The stainless steel models were even better! I believe only twenty five were made.
