I just bought a 11-87 trap model, it is about 23 years old. Does anyone know the difference between an 1100 and an 11-87 trap model? Thanks, Dale

1187 has ss magazine. 1187 is backbored if u bought a remchoked model, not sure about fixed full barrels. 1187 has higher step rib and comb than 1100 non step rib models. 1187 has wider ejector claw than older 1100. 1187 barrel tang has the shell deflector stud...newer 1100 may have this but not sure.

they made them straight or monte carlo. most were monte carlo. a buddy of mine has a straight comb lefty model with remchokes.
