Thank you Yukon and pheasantsgalore.
No doubles there , the AA boxes etc. Have slightly different lettering. I believe Jackie Stewart ( from the 70s ) is on the Eley box but not 100% sure. No two piece boxes ...

For me,I primarily buy for what I remember as a kid. This exact reason that I buy is the driving force in all collectible markets.

I am pretty much like "pheasantmaster"; I just collect what I remember from when I started shooting competitively back in 1981 in small fun shoots around South Texas. Hull boxes, shells, targets, powder cans (kegs).....; anything shooting related. Now I just wish I had a bigger place to display all the stuff I have, but happy I can show off some of it. Here's some pics of what I've collected. The only 2-piece box was for Eley shells (2" long ones at that!). Most recent date on them was 1950. Not sure if they are worth anything or not. As I have met shooters over the years and they found out that I collect old stuff, it's amazing how generous some folks are to add to my collection, or just clean out trash from their own collection. ! For those of you who are serious collectors of old shotgun shell boxes what is the most valuable shell box in your collection? Which vintage shotgun shell boxes are the most sought after? I have read that there were several small companies way back when that manufactured shotgun shells that are no longer in business and their shell boxes are sought after and can bring a premium.
One of my neighbors gave me a bunch of old boxed shells a few years back. I cleaned them up, took a picture, posted it here on TS.com, asking if there was any interest in collecting such things and I earned me a time out.

I’ve never felt the same about this forum since then.

I see we have the same vintage with our deireable tastes.

Just wanted to commend you with the better presentation/placement of yours versus mine🤪
Coming from you Martin I take that as a compliment except for the fact that my gun/reloading room is a f/n disaster.
I keep buying stuff and older shooters keep giving me stuff. it is a good thing that this room is in the basement so it won't drop thru the floor from the weight.

Same here. I keep meaning to address my reloading room but seems I just keep stacking.

Wife new me well and sent me to the corner of the basement and started to not let stuff from that room spill out past the door🤪

Has anyone seen Savage 12 gauge shells? Had a small trap shoot at our hunting club once and relized a shooter was using yellow paper hulls with an indian on them. I was too dumb at the time to stop him or save them and always wondered what value they had.

Very nice shell collection. How are the shells attached to the board?
