Looks like I maybe in the area of Bremerton/Tacoma around the week of Jan. 9 to the 16th anybody know of any clubs shooting that week?? Practice, games, lewis class shoots or anything?? Thanks Paul

I see Bremerton shoots sporting clays on Jan. 12th. Visiting with son who is stationed at Kitsap and we would like to shoot somewhere. Are they open to public? Anyone ever shoot there? One more question, what is continental trap?? Thanks and any info would be helpful.

Here are 3 clubs that are in the area you are talking about. I'm sure you will be able to find a place to shoot. All have public shooting days. For more info go to www.shootpita.com.

Continental shooting is somewhat like bunker trap with only 1 trap being used. Targets are set wider, About 3 feet left of post one and 3 right of post 5. Speed is 50 mph and the vertical is on so you get a variety of target heights. You also get 2 shots at each target. It's shot from the 17 yard line. There is a Continental winter league that starts in January.

I shot at the Bremerton trap and skeet while stations there in Bremerton. It's a great please with standup guys. It's where my addiction started.
