After two weeks at Sparta for the Grand where I boiled for all but a couple of days I thought I would check the Sparta weather forecast today.

The high temperature forecast for the next ten days is a low of 79 degrees and a high of 89, wow what a difference !!! Mother nature is always a crap shoot.

No matter where, or when, you schedule a shooting event you will never control the weather. Just take the bad with the good & enjoy shooting as long as you can.

Yes Tom. I noticed the same thing. I fried for a week too. Mother Nature is fickle and apparently not a trapshooter...

I've tried to get people to understand that as a native of Sparta for over 40 years, 100*F temps with 115*F heat index is NOT normal weather for us over a long period as we have had. On a normal year we may hit that temp once or twice from the July 1st to August 31st. Now we do have high humidity here and the normal temps are in the 90's. There is definately a need for sun shelter whether the temps are 100*F or 85*F.
