Who has a late 80’s MX-8 Special, 34”-32”, combo they want to sell? This is the step rib model. I’m kinda looking for a combo that is in good (but not necessarily perfect) condition. I prefer un-altered barrels/bores, but would consider a modified one if the seller knows who did the work, can prove it, and they are a reputable gunsmith (in my opinion). The wood does not concern me. It will not fit me anyway.

I don't know what the difference between the Special and a regular combo, but Joel Etchen has a top trap combo for sale in his used shotguns section for around $4K.

Thanks for the posts and the PM/emails that I have received so far. I am pretty set with the fact that I am looking for the gun described in my first post. I will move around in the production year, but I definitely want a type 4, 34/32 combo, with the step rib.
