You can order a new barrel from Remington for the 1187 20ga.

There are two 26" barrels:

P/N 240801 1187 BBL 20ga/26" Rem Choke Vent Rib Blued w/ Mod Choke Tube $202.00.
This barrel is for the 1187 Premier, which is polished blue.

P/N 240804 1187 BBL 20ga/26" Rem Choke Vent Rib Matte Black (SPORTSMAN) $190.00.
This barrel is for the matte black Sportsman model. It has a rough, bead blasted finish.
Remington does not make a 24" barrel. But they make a 23" Upland barrel. This will fit all 1187 20ga guns:

P/N 240802 1187 BBL 20ga/23" Rem Choke Vent Rib UPLAND SPECIAL REQ. PN 200323 $230.00
This is a 23" barrel for intended for the 1187 20ga Upland gun, which has a straight English grip. Unlike the 870 and some 1100 Upland or Special Field models, this one will work with a standard 1187 20ga forend and mag tube. Note that this barrel requires P/N 200323. This is the flat steel spring band that wraps around the gas chamber (more popularly called the barrel hanger). I don't know why this barrel doesn't come with this part, but here's the information for it:

P/N 200323 1187 GAS CYLINDER SPRING 20 GA 6.30

The 23" barrel is quite light. It's a very lively barrel, and well suited for petite shooters. It's on the short side for trap. The 26" barrel is better, and the 28" is best. But for some petite shooters, the shorter (and thus lighter), the better. The 23" is really nice to carry in the field.

BTW, just so you'll know, there is a 21" youth barrel. However, before latching onto this like a pitbull on a bone, there are a couple of things you need to know about it. First, it has a flat matte black finish, as it's a Sportsman barrel. Second, and more importantly, it actually weighs slightly more than the 23" Upland barrel. Unlike other 21" 1187 barrels, this one is an exception and will cycle light loads.
P/N 240805 1187 BBL 20ga/21" Rem Choke Vent Rib SPORTSMAN $217.00

These aren't easy to find used for the 1187.
Just FYI, 1100 LT-20 barrels are somewhat easier to find, but they won't interchange. I've tried to swap them and it's a no go.
