Fresh cut piece of walnut, approx. 8-10 ft. long, at least a foot at the base, this is the first limb off an approx. 50 yr old tree. Not real straight but could be useable for woodworking. Don't know the exact worth but really too good to cut for firewood. Located in Lawrence, KS. email above if interested. Mark

Paint the end grain ASAP to prevent radial checking, well it really doesn't prevent it but is stops a lot of it

Log was cut on 11/23/13, bark is still on, ends are square cut. i expect to paint the ends, but it's too cold to paint right now. Also could be some more pieces in the future.
