Actually those 1 Oz 1290’s are perfectly OK for trap. Up to 1325 in 1 Oz loads.Local WM had 10 12ga 1oz 1290 on the shelf, too fast for trap. Bunch of 20 gauge too.

Is that the Estate? That’s a legal load for trap but they do kick a bit. I use them for my league because I was able to get a bunch of them at Walmart.Local WM had 10 12ga 1oz 1290 on the shelf, too fast for trap. Bunch of 20 gauge too.

That load is predominantly what I use - even in competition. Works well for me. I hope the pricing was decent.Local WM had 10 12ga 1oz 1290 on the shelf, too fast for trap. Bunch of 20 gauge too.
I find it interesting that Walmart's in certain parts of the country sell reloading supplies. In my part of Texas, ammo is almost non-existent and behind locked glass cabinets. No firearms and very little firearm related products. I rarely set foot in the one near here, but did for the first time in a few years just to see what they had. Ammo case was completely empty. Maybe another three years before I go back.My local Walmart had CCI small rifle primers. 😁
