So as not to be misleading here---is a "Krighoff" barrel similar to one manufactured by Krieghoff?

These barrels are not bowed or bent in any way are they? I mean they haven't made Model 62 barrels in decades...these haven't been damaged while in storage have they?

"Fits right on my K80." You don't mean to infer that these will fit on any K80, right? And, don't you know, Krieghoff hasn't made these exact barrels for a long time and there have been continual improvements in metallurgy over the years. You don't mean that these are in any way equivalent to current K80 production, right?

"Very Very Very nice condition?" Is that an official Blue Book condition classification? Is it like 3 times as "nice" as very nice?

You aren't the same guy who has made unsubstantiated claims on here of being some big hunting guide are you?

Aprice you are a little slow so let me help you with some better lines;

Let me help you- "They havent made these in decades" is what you said. Well made is a relative term- the guy selling the 62s still had some he was selling new in Europe as of last year.

Aprice what you should have said is that "these could be nearly 50 years old"
Because 2011-1962= 49 --- That is the date that the earliest ones of these were made.

Aprice- let me give you a better line for K80 stuff; "That stuff could be going on 40 years old" the math 2011-1980= 31 and that to you is close to 40

I've searched all over...can't find any marked "Krighoff." Where did you get yours?

Are you sure these weren't damaged in storage?

That's what these internet forums are for, to discuss all this stuff, right?

I think most of the "problems" shooters had with the 62's was the fit as European stocks are typically not shaped the same as American wood nor do they typically have similar dimensons -- usually much lower (and sharper) combs.

Deleted at the request of aprice.

Gene --- can you post a couple of photos of the barrels including one that shows the receiver? Do you know what the choke constrictions really are and also, what does it weigh?
