Wonder how many trophies were left this year. Nothing was mailed, had to be picked up.

I'll answer the trophy question as I am responsible for the Grand trophies. We average less than 50 awards that are not picked up (this is the number for the past two Grands).The expense of mailing out trophies that were not claimed became too great and it was decided that there were too many better ways to spend that money.In an effort to accomodate shooters, I stay in the Events Center (at the trophy counter) until all the shoot offs are over on the final Saturday night. I also come back in on Sunday after the Grand is over and stay until afternoon so shooters can stop by on their way home to pick up. Any award not picked up is packed away and will be available at the Grand this coming year.

What issues could cause the ATA office or who ever cashiers the shoot from mailing the checks?

The date on the list is Oct...alittle old. At least 5 of the outstanding checks went out of the country. I don't know how hard it is to cash a check from another country. They may have to wait and bring them back sometime.

A check drawn on a US bank generally takes 30 days to clear when cashed in Canada...FYI
