The University of Kentucky Shotgun Team has a great opportunity for those interested in supporting the team. The Scholastic Clay Target Program donated a set of four Winchester Model 70 Supergrade rifles to us, and we are selling raffle tickets for the set.
The set of rifles are known as the “Nearly-Perfect” Rifle Battery. Their manufacture was commissioned by MidwayUSA as one of only one hundred sets made. Each set has sequential, matching serial numbers. The set includes:

•The Varmint Rifle chambered in .22-250 Remington
•The Deer & Antelope Rifle chambered in .270 Winchester
•The Elk & Moose Rifle chambered in .300 Winchester Mag.
•The Dangerous Game Rifle chambered in .375 H&H Magnum

The proceeds will be put into the team’s scholastic shooting trust fund where it will be matched 3-to-1 by Larry and Brenda Potterfield. Our team relies primarily on the generosity of others to help pay for our shooting expenses including fuel, lodging, ammunition, and entry fees. The interest generated by the money will help offset these expenses and run the team. Every ticket sold will help guarantee the longevity of the team! Below are a few pictures that highlight the features of these rifles.
