Reading this makes me wonder if all you blowhards and catastrophe theorists might have just been out-foxed by Neil and the rest of the ATA BOD/EC.

The shoot is still going to happen.

The prize money, apparently, has gone up.

You have three big, shooting-related companies finally stepping up for some major sponsorship of a shoot.

Somebody else is going to take care of cashiering, hiring of temps, payouts, etc.

This sounds to me like a great situation for everyone!

RE: to host the upcoming U.S. Open and other events

And the ATA, NSSA, NSCA management will be needed at SPARTA to do what at future shoots?

Not a smart asx question, just doing some thinking. If the shoot(s) can be farmed out and run in a professional manner, what do the shoot organizations bring to the table that can't be provided by sponsors?

It would seem that SPARTA could chose not to renew lease agreements and make major shoots there own, especially if they have willing sponsors.

What would be their motivation for doing that Joe?

I don't think ATA shooters would go, in large numbers, to a non-registered shoot at the WSRC. What would be the point?

Can't some of you just accept good news without the adding of petty BS. What if? What if? What if?? How come??

It will be interesting to see how shoots sponsored and run by a professional group fare.
Is this the future? Are we finally moving out of the dark ages"?
Will the ATA still be relevant down the road?

Looking forward to the future of trapshooting!
