Will TM1 trigger assemblies work without fitting in other TMs?

Usually. PGE almost always fit into TM guns. Pre '86 guns varied some as did the trigger frame housing. But file fitting is reasonably easy if it is too large. Never saw a trigger too small. File, Try. File try. File try. Wet sand smooth when done, cold blue

I had 3 triggers for my tmx and all fit and worked fine the last trigger a got needed to be fit i had dan at giocamo do it at the PA state shoot took about 10min with a file. Most will fit with no problem

Do you file/sand it at the back of the trigger or at the front side of the trigger for fitting purposes?

I've seen a few triggers that have been subjected to some fairly brutal "fitting". Threads like this one point out the very real downside to the Perazzi design philosophy - it is just soooo easy to " fix".
As much as I admire the I-can-do-that kinda guy there are a few things that maybe should be left to the pro - like the barrel that came to me "fitted" into oblivion.
