FYI for anyone who currently has a 12-point buckle and have earned or will earn 12 points for this year, please bring your buckle to the shoot on sunday so we can have the chip installed before the club banquet. If you know someone who has a buckle, please pass the information along. Thanks.

BMC, good idea on the 12-point buckles. Perhaps our club president could send out a general email to alert our members.

Big Jim. We will miss you too and thanks for the kind words.

Baker’s Dozen Membership

Thirteen shoots for the price of twelve. Sunday is the last shoot of our target year. Any new member who joins and pays their dues for the 2010- 2011 shoot year (starts in October) may shoot this shoot as a member and is eligible for all awards in their class or yardage group on Sunday.

I have already talked to everyone who has earned a 12 point personal achievement buckle this year except Sam. If you are close to having 12 points please bring your buckle along on Sunday in hopes of earning that precious last point(s). We need to deliver them next week to have the diamond enhancements added along with the 2009-2010 engraving.

We have been very fortunate weather wise this year. Back in the rainy season we escaped all the storms and this summer we missed the very hot days. It really cooled down today and we have a pleasant forecast for Sunday.

Have Fun,
John

Lunch:

Yes, we will have lunch. There will be croissant sandwiches with your choice of turkey, roast beef or ham. We will also have pinwheels. These are the same sandwiches we tried in June that received a lot of positive comments.

In addition, several people have volunteered to bake a variety of desserts. You should be well covered.

Shoot well, last chance to improve your annual average before the awards banquet.

Have Fun,
John
