Saw in trap and field magazine there now selling trap shooting shoes. What's next trapshooting underwear. LOL

reminded me of my younger brother years ago talking about a needing a pair of Beer drinking gloves, don't know if he ever found them.

Orvis used to sell a shooting shoe... it had a wedge in the sole and the upper offered a reinforced area over the toes that served as a barrel rest... sold every pair they had in stock...

I remember the "Shoot Boots" from quite a while ago, nowhere near as expensive at the trapshooting shoes I recently saw in Trap and Field, something like $229 and $259 ! Shocked me so much I turned the page FAST.

Many years ago in Colorado, when I first started shooting trap, it was suggested I wear cowboy boots with a high heal. Apparently they force you into an aggressive forward leaning posture. Never worked for me, but........

In the 80's Bob Allen sold shooting shoes,kind of like a bowling shoe..
