We shoot 250 singles and 250 handicap. You shoot a 25, you shoot from the 25 yard line 24-24,23-23,22-22,21-21,20-20, and the lowest position is 19 yards.
$5.00 entry fee. All prize monies are by Lewis Class. Works good

Jim,

We have 5-man teams.

The team shoots a round at 16 yards.

Total 5-man team score is summed up, then divided by 5, rounded up to the nearest whole number, then add 2. That's what yardage you shoot your second round from, minimum 20 yards.

e.g. everybody shoots a 20 from the 16 yard line. That sums up to 100 for 5 shooters. Divide by 5, that's 20. Add 2 that's 22. Team shoots from the 22 yard line for their handicap round.

Our league rules are on the website listed above.

In the past we shot all 16 yrd targets. We shot handicap in the past too but it became a nightmare because of different yardages. Next year we are going to try again, the first 5 weeks(250 targets) will be all 16's, then based on your 16's you will be assigned a handicap yardage for the second half of the season.

Call Steve Carmichael at the Las Vegas Gun Club. He runs one of the finest leagues in the country. Has a Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter League with Spring and Fall League with over 50 5 man teams shooting Wed Night. Has gone to Tuesday night league because of over flow. Call him at 702-645-5606. Well worth the call as he can give you a lot of insight on dos and dont's to have a successful league.

We shoot an inter club league in the summer with 3 other clubs in our area. All targets are shot at 16yards and we use an 80% handicap system based on the score you shoot. You have to shoot 100 targets at each club over a couple of month period. You can shoot whenever the individual clubs are open and you must declare that you are shooting for league score prior to shooting. Everyone gathers at one of the clubs for a final 50 targets on a Saturday at the end. Trophies are awarded for High Gun in each category as well as for the club with the high average. Barbecue and party follows paid for with league proceeds. IT has been a lot of fun and gets everyone to support our fellow clubs and get to know some fellow shooters.
