We are still in the early planning stages,BUT, so far it will be open to anyone who wants to attend. We will have some other events planned for those days, but nothing is etched in stone.

He is today's Herb Parsons.

Herb used to get his kid into the show.

He used to make up funny reasons for any target he would miss.

I still like to watch the video.

Life seemed so much simpler then, didn't it? At least it looked that way.

Herb Parsons was a great guy. I still remember him being a guest at my parents home. I have seen Tom Knapp shoot 2 times and he is amazing as Herb. Todd

You are one lucky guy to have Herb stay over at your place.

I would have loved to pick his brain and hear the stories he must have had.

I think Herb was a "Hero" of Tom and he runs his shows in much the same way as Herb.

Is there a contact person for Tom? I would love to make the attempt to have him come to my home club for an exhibition shoot.

Big Al..<bR>
You contact Tom through his web site (TomKnapp.net) and thru Benelli with the request and they add you to the list of requests for a date. Then you wait for at least 2 years and they finalize things just after the SHOT SHOW and let you know that he is formally booked for your club on that date. <br>
I had the pleasure of spending 4 hours with Tom last night getting the particulars for the show set and having a BS session. If his show is half as interesting as Tom the show will be great.

NONE AT ALL JUST COME, Tom and Benelli require the show to be open to the public and at no charge. <br>
Benelli has some try guns and there is a guy making custom ear plugs. Still have plenty of parking today.

It was nice. I forgot my blue lawn chair. Darn.

Tom mentioned when shooting from the hip to get your eye over that barrel. Pretty well duplicated his 9 shot record. Last target was on the ground when he hit it.

Tom could sell those hats with his signature. Johnny wanted one. His website has a make a friend with a soldier option (my wording). Will have to check it out.

Nice day. Worth it. THANKS.

<<Watched him miss a pheasent on a tv hunt show.>>

I saw that same show. Not only did he miss a pheasant which flushed right in front of him and flew straight away, he missed it three times...nobody's perfect, eh?

Marco, Now I have a reason to shoot Maywood Wed. night. If that's ok? Thanks for setting my chair aside.
