TM-1's and TMX's are identical. Only difference is the rib (monoblocs are the same). Triggers are single triggers only. They don't work in any of the MX series guns (double triggers).

TM triggers come with either leaf (flat) or coil springs. Coil springs don't have the 'Perazzi problem' of breaking springs, but the leaf springs have a little quicker reaction time.

I think somebody was doing coil conversions a while back, but at roughly $300 for a trigger group, it's not really worth it.

Yes, they are removable. Should the leaf spring break, in all reality, it takes about 25 seconds to change if you have the spring tool or even a set of needle nose plyers. The only thing is being annoyed on the line with having it break on you.

Very reliable. You have occasional 'bad luck' items - like breaking a hammer - but there are newer style hammers out there that don't break, and it's very rare in the first place. I did know a guy who was breaking forearm release rods - and they were hard to find, but that's becuase he was shooing a different bbl that had not been fitted correctly. A little smith work on the 2nd bbl and the rods stopped breaking.

No abnormal recoil. Less than a BT99 (but then again, what doesn't have less recoil than a BT?), but more than a Silver Seitz (but it doesn't weigh 10 lbs either).
