Drops are OK for temporary relief, but it is more important to stay hydrated. Hydrate your self in the morning by drinking plenty of water, and continue drink water through out the day of the shoot. My eye doctor put me on to this a few years ago, and I've seen a few articles stating the same. It works!

Use refresh tears, just tears, not the stuff that says that it gets the "Red" out.
