This stock is RS height and adapted to shoot at MX3/8height. Hence the lower comb. But, the new replacement comb came out plain walnut no figure and looked out of place. Shot well, but needed a fix. First step was to take some Pecan Min-Wax stain and add a dollop of oil base yellow and apply to entire comb. And then to stripe it similar to grain with Min-Wax "Special Walnut #224" (my go-to for gun stocks). Using a automotive pin stripe brush I made the lines you see. Port side came out near perfect and starboard looks "good enough for the girls I go out with". A FWIW, I take care of my stuff.

I'm not a "Pro", but sometimes I can pass for one. I forget who made the comb for me but once again, thanks so much.

Forgot to add that the comb has 3 coats of Min-Wax Polyurethane from a spray can. Light steel wool in between coats.
