The members and directors of Walworth Sportsman's Club, Walworth, NY would like to thank Hans Farnung from Beikirch's ammunition, Rochester, NY. For the contribution of $1000.00 added money to our May 5th ATA shoot. Thanks to Han's and the boys at Beikirh's for a first class operation.

Thanks to Hans and the shooters response our shoot was a great success.

We need more people like Beikirch's to step up and help out our sport

A very special thanks for the boys & girls @ Beikirch's for donating the prize money. And to you Bernie and all the Walworth members for putting on a first class shoot. I am sorry that I missed this shoot. But building a new home here in Delaware is my personal challenge right now. And your weather was much better then ours this past weekend!!....X-Jet Boat Bill

Beikirch's has a long and wonderful storied history in the upstate New York area. I remember going to them when they were on Winton Road in Rochester, and the Missus in charge, Betty Beikirch, was always there to meet and greet everyone, even a snot nosed kid of 12 years old in 1961, who would need 1# of Red Dot that was dipped out of a keg into a 1# coffee can, a little 5# bag of 9s, some cardboard wads, and 100 Federal primers so he could put his little "Lee Loader" hand set to use.

Today Hans, a long and cherished employee of the Beikirch family business, has taken ownership and continues to support the shooting community in upstate NY, and now with a new store in Pennsylvania.

Good Luck, and Continued Success to the gang, and our cherished friends at Beikirch's.

I am sure it is beyond their control at the moment with the shortages they are experiencing. I called up there a short time ago, and was told the story we all keep hearing from certain suppliers. Orders are placed, manufacturers just aren't shipping.

We are headed north to our summer camp off Canandaigua Lake in a couple of weeks, and if it is close to our travels, I would like to stop in.

Unfortunatly our interests in shotgun shooting have gone from ATA, to shooting the "Other shotgun games" this year. As you may know, the Canandaigua Club is all 5 stand and Sporting Clays now and last summer I got the taste for shooting those games and loved it. I get to walk the perimeter of the 42 acres for exercise, and stop and try to get those pesky targets along the way.

We will still be making one day trips to the ATA shoots to say hello to folks we have met along the way but just willl be "Shooting The Breeze" which I have been the best at from time to time.

Hope to see you at one of the shoots, Dave

Dave, shooting the breeze is the easiest way to stay "straight" for the day and to keep the greenbacks in line!! My favorite part of the shoots is to see all of the faces that have been missed throughout the long winter months.

Glad to hear that Walworth's shoot was a success. If only we lived a little closer, but Jerry's son will be attending RIT this fall, so I am sure we will be visiting the area more than we already do.

Safe travels to the North and make sure you bring some of that sun with you.

Hi Jo Ann,

Always remember to bring your guns up when visiting Jerry's son at RIT.

Walworth shoots on friday evenings, daytime on Saturdays and Sundays...

Some of the best set targets in the Central NY area..How else would they be when two All Americans shoot there all the time. Great people, great facility. Who could ask for more ?

Hope to see you at Cicero when we make our visits.

Dave in SC..headed to NY soon for the summer !
