Our club is looking at a target counting system for a 5-stand layout, two trap and two skeet fields.

I think the one they are looking at is from "LongRange".

Anyone have any experience with these units, good or bad?

What are some of the pitfalls?

I believe they use Long Range @ Robinson Ranch---no problems.

I don't think I've used a target counter on a 5-stand (have used it without the counter), but have used this system in skeet, trap and sporting. No complaints.

We have the Long Range System for Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays and 5 Stand.

They're Excellent! They're easy to set up and you can make them easy to use. They can also provide you with a lot of information. It will most surely help you keep your costs down. Much better than the coin systems.

They're exceptional for 5 stand, FITASC and sporting because of the portability. Especially if you operate your traps on 12v batteries on carts or something you can lift with a fork lift or tractor with forks. They take a lot of the work out of changing the course.

The customer service is excellent.
