I used to deal with Stu Wright. His complete upgrade kits were a great bargain at the price. Too bad his family hadn't carried on after his passing. I still have one of his kits tucked away.

 

Boomer was a local guy to me. I shot with him a bit and at one point owned two of his Super X1's. I have a buddy that still owns a couple of them. His triggers were the best.

Bob worked on several SX-1s for me. The one I best remember was one he hard chromed. Tom Smith stocked it and called it "the bumper". One weekend after I got it from Bob, I drove from Roanoke to Old Forge for a SC tournament (3.5 hours). Discovered on the 5-stand warm up that the trigger would not work, which pissed me majorly. Sent it back to Bob and he sent me one that he said was his personal trigger and had his initials. We in Virginia had some rare experiences with Bob. He pinned a Stage 1 barrel rib for Charles Peebles, evidently with a hand drill since the pin came out the top of the rib....I know Bubba Walton had some issues as well.

Probably the best semi auto ever made. I had Bob do some work on one of mine years ago. Wish I still had it but in a fit of ignorance I traded it off.

 

I make a shell catcher for this model now as well.

 

It is a great shell catcher also!! Great price to!!
