I did mine with a drimmel in a vise. You will probably have to remove about 1/2 of the thickness of the bolt to get it to clear. It's a trial and effort thing.

I just got a shell catcher from T&S for superX 1 they sent directions on how to do the bolt grove, used to be when you ordered a shell catcher from T&S they would send you a bolt handle w/the groove in it. Try to give them a call.

If you want to buy one with the notch allready in,nuline guns has them,I think there about $40.00
