It does not surprise me that the map shows farm subsidies going to various places in Chicago. I'm going to assume looking at the map that most of those are in the business and financial district. Many farms are owned by corporations now, run from business offices, not from Farmer Jones' farmhouse. Chicago is a major player in agriculture, so one would expect there to be a lot of agribusinesses there.
So in my opinion, SOME of the 930 subsidies in chicago are probably quite legit.
The issue is, which ones are NOT, and are the Feds going to investigate this or ignore it?
