I know the K80 RT (removable trigger) and standard K80 (fixed trigger) stocks aren't interchangeable.

However, I'm wondering if there is enough meat left in a standard K80 stock (and by extension, a K80 PFS grip) that it could be modified to fit a K80 RT receiver.

Has anyone done this before, or have knowledge as to whether or not it will work, and if so, how much work is involved.

The stocks on K-80, k-80RT, and early K32M (rem 32) are all very similar, but will not exchange exactly. Yes, they can be made to work but the results may be a little unsightly. It will work though - word.

The rear receiver abutment on the frame changed to a small protrusion on the 32/80, from flat on the early 32, to a small indentation on the RT. This is the area where the stock bolt inserts the receiver.

The upper tangs are all slightly different, the lower tangs a little more so. The bottom tang of the RT is wider, so if mounting an RT stock on the 32/80, there's about the thickness of a nickel or dime perimeter space that will have to be filled with matching epoxy.

In short a good craftsman could pull it off and make it unnoticeable. Putting the PFS on the RT is more of removing plastic in the lower tang area. Good luck, GAP
