I was about to get a stock made from Dennis and probably still will. I got a great deal on a stock Allems made and can't complain it's not fit for me but I'm shooting very well with it. I just need to find a blank to for Dennis.

Dennis Devauld does a fine job. Wenig is hit or miss in my experience I'm still waiting for a response to an e-mail I sent them twice and its been 3 weeks. Remember that a stock maker and stock fitter are two different things and wenig is a fine stockmaker but not really a stockfitter you can get Rolands book and you would probably do a better job than going to Wenig.

If you know exactly what you want in a stock Wenigs is great--They are not good stock fitters.

Id use Todd @ The Country Gentleman. He was working with Wenig when I looked onto a custom stock. May regard him and his family the best. break em all. Jeff

SMOKIT Your absolutely correct! In my experience wenig gets it right at least 50% of the time and makes fine stocks but if your hard to fit or are racing for a national championship you should look in to a Gunfitter /Stockmaker like Dennis or Myself.
