I just received a Stevens 22 falling block (low digit serial number), no idea of year. lots of light surface rust on the metal, the wood is good, the gun functions perfectly and all other parts are there eg. butt stock, folding sight. it's a unique 22 to my eye. anyone know the history of this gun and is there any value in it? thanks for information. Have had three of them, and presently own a newer Model 30 in 17HMR (not made any more). Great little guns, but need serious trigger work to be accurate shooters. One of the guns I had could support it's own weight on the trigger and not fire! Anyway, they are neat looking little guns and really a lot of fun to shoot! My 17HMR shoots right with the best of them! Check GunBroker.com for going prices. Usually $250 on up depending on condition and model.
