Trapsters,
Been a while since we have done this, show respect for those greats from the not so distant past. I know a lot of you have stories about this great shooter, who competed in this sport we love, please feel free to type away, we all love to read great stories from traps past, before they are forgotten. I think Steve is one of the good guys.

I am sure those in the know will be along with a story or two.

I recall the first time I meat Steve. It was in May of 1986. I went to Vegas on vacation and took my shotgun along as I wanted to shoot at the Famous Las Vegas Gun Club. I stopped out there on a Thursday afternoon. The club was open but that time of day no other shooters around. Steve stopped his daily chores and shot 100 rounds with me so I didn’t have to shoot alone. After that I started going out to Vegas for the Fall Handicap shoots. He was always ran a great shoot and always took time to talk to me. Yes, Steve is one of the GOOD GUYS.

I can't tell you any stories but I can say that Steve is one of the good guys.
He used to oww/lease the Las Vegas Trap Club and now is the manager for the Clark County Shooting Park.
He's a nice guy and runs a good club.

Because of Steve I was dubbed the "Big Bobber". I was so greeted by many for years by nickname.

Heck of a spoonbill guide too.

Roger, why do you all look so young? LMAO Am I the only one that hasn't aged in the last 30 years?

I've been fortunate to grow up in this sport and get to know and shoot with alot of the legends. One thing I always noted about Steve was how quickly/efficiently he brought the gun to his shoulder while calling at same time as butt hit body. He really mounted like he didn't care.

For those that admire/embellish Steve, it wasn't so pleasant for Red Dot 1 and I to have to live close and constantly compete against him.lol

Damn Roger. You, and everybody else, have really gotten old looking at that picture. I'm glad I haven't aged that much. I had a long phone conversation with John Hall a couple of days ago. We reminisced about the old days. Hall is still as crazy as ever. Jimmy Borum

How about a couple more!!!
