I heard about this on Mark Levin's radio show a week or so ago. I only caught a snippet, I've been searching for something about it, but until now - no luck.

The last time the States sent delegates to a Constitutional Convention was under the Articles of Confederation.

I hope they don't try to hold a Constitutional Convention, because that's the vehicle that used to erase the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and replace them. As full of holes as they are now, does anyone think what they'll be replaced with will be better?

If a constitutional convention gets called, it will be the end of this country as we know it. The real purpose for "homeland security", increased fed presence in local LE, and all that ammunition will become apparent.

Brian, the end of this country as we KNEW it ended 20-25 years ago.

As I understand it - the delegates at this states meeting can only bring up issues that are granted to them by their state's legislature. I just wonder how many state legislatures are going to tell their delegates to turn over all the power to the Feds? Maybe a few like CA, MA but most state legislatures are going to want to have control.

I say go for it. Time to **** or get off the pot.

Gotta agree with Rick Barker - repeal the 17th, and go from there.
