Staten Island Sportsmen

I heard yesterday that the Staten Island club was badly damaged during the storm. Anyone have any info?

North Jersey untouched. I was there Sunday. Lot's of new shooters. Next Sunday is our annual turkey shoot, club meeting, and election of officers.

I passed last week but could not get near as road through the marsh was still blocked. Based on the amount of debris scattered about the area I could see, it does not look good. Will be passing by again next week and will try to get closer.

Some good news, Suffolk County range in Yaphank is open. Shot sporting clays
Sunday in a T shirt! All the trap and skeet fields were filled with shooters.

talked to frankie last week. All the traps were under water and need rebuilding. There were 3 ft of water in the Club house. They have a lot of work to do to repair trps and Club House.

Hope they can back up and running soon,..they really took it on the chin..once they are back up I will happily drive there to support them by participating in a shoot...Just hope I can get there without one of Bloomburgs croonies relieving me of my shooting iron
