As a corollary to the thread re: using your trap gun to shoot sporting, what are thoughts of those who are successfully shooting trap with a "sporting clays" gun? Seems to be some merit to using one gun for both games. My 32" 425 Browning with adjustable comb set up at 60/40 works fine. Regards, Ed

I shoot SC with either my 1100 trap gun or my 101 Trap gun the only issue I have is that the guns are older and fixed chockes. I think that a long barrel with open chokes is the way to shoot SC

One of the best shooters at my club shoots a Beretta 390 for skeet,trap and sporting. Master class Sporting , 27 Yard AAA trap and great skeet shooter one gun.

I use a Guerini Impact with 32" barrels and do well with it, it is easily adjustable for trap or sporting clays.
