Jim, I'm game!
OK, I am a bit lost.Jim, I'm game!
this is what i'm interested in.Earlier in this thread I posted that I wanted the Spolar reservoir bases. I am considering offering a service to replace the plastic tube on the OEM Spolar reservoir with a Pyrex glass tube. Customers would send me their reservoir base and I will attach a glass tube with epoxy. The resulting reservoir will be the same size and gold color as the original OEM reservoir. This option will cost less and the base will be gold colored. I will continue to offer my reservoir with the black colored base. Comments?

Maxey,I’ve been loading Fed white plastics since day one on latest Spolar. (Set up specifically for my bunker loads by Spolar when purchased). Produces a beautiful shell. However, sizing, primer seating and crimp stations definitely work my shoulder and arm muscles. Came across 500 AAHS in the bottom of a tub and thought they would be a good fit for the 4# jug of IMR Green on the top shelf. Holy crap - first shell into resizing station and I thought I’d turned into Conan!! Ditto, primer seating. Crimp station still noticeable, and on knockout, the shell is barely touched and it’s thru the drop tube like sh** thru a goose. Huge difference to say the least!

The Fed white plastics have a steel base. That's your issue. The AAHS hulls have a brass base. And that plastic they use on the HS has a sort of oily finish to it that gives that "crap through a goose" effect.I’ve been loading Fed white plastics since day one on latest Spolar.
