Folks ,
Have any of you fellow reloaders replaced the seal between the motor and the pump on a Spolar hydraulic ?
I always keep a folded sheet of newsprint under the pump / motor and noticed a little hydraulic fluid on the sheet . Not a large amount just enough to notice .
I'd much rather take it to a shop to have done rather than replace it myself , UNLESS it isn't a major job .
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration .

Hi Soup The pump and motor separate and go back together quite easy with the removal of the 4 bolts. Nothing inside comes falling out !! I never went after the seal, but the seep is so minor that just a small cup under the weep hole works fine for a very long time. The loss of fluid is so minimal I didn't feel it was worth the trouble. Mine is more than ten years old with a ton of miles on it. Not bad at all !! Regards ES
