Sold pending funds. For sale is a Winchester commemorative 9422 for the 75th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America in 1985. It is unfired, and in the original full color sleeve. The lever was opened, but not loaded or fired. It has a 20" round barrel, with pewter plated barrel bands.
This rifle has a pewter plated receiver engraved with the Scout oath on the right side, along with knots engraved on the lever.
The left side of the receiver has the Scout motto engraved along with more knots on the lever.
The buttstock is nicely figured walnut, and has a medallion on the right side. The stocks are cut checkered. The original trigger guard hang tag is still attatched, and all original paperwork is included.
The cardboard sleeve has some storage wear, as can be seen in the first picture. Serial #69XX of 15,000 produced.
