Gun is now sold pending receipt of funds. I've decided to sell my Parker GH 12GA. This gun is serial number 145351 and it is listed in the Parker Identification and Serialization book just as it is today with one exception, there is an additional set of barrels numbered to the gun. The gun shows in the book as being a 12GA with damascus barrels 30 inches in length, having a capped pistol grip and that is exactly what we have. What we also have is an additional set of 27 inch barrels which are also numbered to the gun and having an additional forend. The pictures pretty well show the gun and the barrels. Here are all the statistics on this gun. The 30" barrels have bores of .735 Lt, and .737 Rt with chokes measuring .696 Lt, and .696 Rt. The 27 inch barrels have bores of .735 Lt, and .738 Rt and chokes measuring .732 Lt, and .738 Rt. Barrel walls have a minimum wall thickness of .728 in only one small spot on the 30" barrels. The rest of the barrels are .030 or greater. Bores are very bright and shiny with no pitting. Both sets of barrels are very tight on the gun with no play whatsoever and top lever to the right of center. Gun weighs 7 pounds 13 ounces with the 27 inch barrels and 8 pounds 1 ounce with the 30 inch barrels. Stock dimensions are 1 3/4 X 2 5/8 X 14 1/8 over the original dogs head butt plate. Gun has much better than average wood for a GH with a nice quilted pattern. The barrels both are numbered to the gun and one has the #2 stamped on the lug as does the matching forend. One forend has more wear to the checkering than the other and the shorter set of barrels shows a little more wear to the damascus pattern but both barrels have a very nice original pattern remaining. Stock finish appears to all be original and nice for its age. Case coloring remains in protected areas. I have been shooting this gun at skeet and it performs beautifully with my low pressure loads. Price for the gun is $2500 plus actual shipping charges to your FFL. Contact me at [email protected] with any questions you might have on this very nice Parker.
