With the shell prices going up daily, will this affect participation at this years Sparta Grand Shoot?
If new shells are mandatory, will it be a factor in attendance? Will this affect other major shoots?
Having shot The Grand for 46 years, I can tell you with some authority that the economy, ie; gas prices, unemployment, lodging, food, will have a much greater affect on attendance than shell prices. The move to Sparta has affected attendance due to poor infrastructure. The availability of lodging nearby, entertainment for women, after shoot activities, are all much less than what was available in Greater Dayton. The ATA/Sparta have done nothing to help with womens activities which were available in Dayton/Vandalia. When momma isn't happy, mobody is happy!
Illinois is 271 billion dollars in debt. 100 billion is just the pension fund. We will just get Washington to print more dollars.Quinn and Rahm don't know that Sparta exists. If thee did they would tax it.
