Of course... the 3 DE higher velocity load will give you a more noticeable thump; whether it's objectionable to you depends on how you feel about the 2¾ DE 1145 load...and ignore any claims about "soft shooting powder".

Here is a recoil calculator (see link above) Looks like about 1.5 pounds difference with an 8# gun and 1 1/8 oz loads. 500 bird program, that is a difference of 750 pounds hitting your shoulder. Mark

Thank's Mark I use a Citori whit a Mercury recoil reducer so + or - 10 pouds and my scores are mutch beter whit 1200 fps 3dr.I will keep on for few test.
