Congrats to both of you. It always makes me happy to see a kid grow up being able to participate in a shooting sport. Unfortunately for my son, he grew up in communist country (NJ) and never had that opportunity. I had to tell him all the time when we went to the range, no pictures and don't discuss this at school.

I took my Daughter trap shooting for the first time a little over a year ago, now she is all geared out and happy to go with me all the time.
Enjoy it while it lasts. The phase where they're embarrassed to be seen with you happens. Then it'll be eye rolls and everything you propose will be stupid. Ask me how I know.

Agreed, it doesn't happen with everybody. I wanna say for me, just me, it was the late high school years with my son. By the time college started, my son figured out his parents knew a few things and had some good resources at their disposal.
