Sunday, January 19th 2014 the Solon Sportsmen's Club clubhouse, Solon, NY was destroyed by fire two hours after serving their routinely scheduled Sunday breakfast. Along with everything else that was lost, the voice control for their trap was destroyed. The club was established in the early 1950s. Solon was a very small (one trap) operation but was enjoyed by many of their members and guests. Plans to rebuild the clubhouse are pending. Funds to replace the voice control will take a bit of doing.

Area clubs could have fundraising shoots to aid in the financial restoration. Donation buckets at those clubs could also be placed. Just a thought. ed
